Caithness businesses recognised at Scottish Chambers awards
Published 23 Aug 2014Caithness Chamber of Commerce is delighted to announce that it has been shortlisted for the Chamber of the Year Award at the inaugural Scottish Chambers of Commerce Business Honours.
In addition, it is pleased to announce that four Chamber members have also been shortlisted in their respective categories, as follows:
- JGC Engineering & Technical Services – Business of the Year (Over 25 Employees)
- JPL Shellfish – International Business of the Year
- Mackays Hotel – Growing Talent
- Reids of Caithness – International Business of the Year
Trudy Morris, chief executive of Caithness Chamber of Commerce, said: “We are delighted that we have been shortlisted for these awards. The Chamber has grown hugely since its inception, and to be shortlisted for such a prestigious honour is a real recognition from the Scottish business community of all that we have achieved.
“That four of our members have also been shortlisted is a fantastic demonstration of the hard work and determination shown by businesses in Caithness. I am proud of the work that our members do and delighted that they will have this opportunity to showcase their business on the national stage.”
