Published 15 Sep 2017
Lyth Arts Centre has appointed two new co-directors, who will take up their post in November.
Charlotte Mountford and Tom Barnes have said in a joint message that they will attend the centre at various periods in the interim.
"LAC is a much-loved space in the Highlands and it's a huge honour for us both to take over as co-directors there, later this year." a statement from the two said.
"William Wilson (who retired last year) leaves an extraordinary legacy and we're incredibly excited to build on this. We look forward to to working with the team, board and community to create and develop an innovative and dynamic programme for Lyth."
Ms Mountford has previously worked as a theatre and festivals producer specialising in programming and artist development and Mr Barnes has previously worked as a coordinator and producer.
"Charlotte and Tom are a dynamic team who are relishing the opportunity to take LAC forward into the next stage of it's existence following the retirement of William Wilson." said board of trustees chairwoman Susie Dinge.
