Contracts & Funded Projects
As a Chamber, we are always keen to look for new ways to serve the business community of the North Highlands and to maximise the benefits we bring to our members. A key part of how we achieve that is through taking on contracts and initiatives in addition to our core membership offering.
Through our contracts with the Caithness Business Fund and North Highland Regeneration Fund, as well as through our Business Support and Mentoring project, we help to advise and support businesses both new and existing across the region.
Ensuring that the young people of the North Highlands have the skills they need for the future is hugely important. Our Developing the Young Workforce (DYW) team has continued to build partnerships between industry and education to offer a range of activities to help young people in the area develop.
One of the core benefits that the Chamber brings to its members is lobbying, and through our work with the Caithness Transport Forum we ensure that the voice of business is heard on all transport issues affecting the North Highlands.
