Yesterday, it was announced by UK Government that we have moved from the containment to the delay stage in the Coronavirus pandemic.
Implementing the delay stage means social distancing measures have been put in place with many public gatherings of 500 or more people being cancelled and many smaller events being cancelled or postponed as a precautionary measure. We will do our utmost to help members spread the message if you have decided to postpone or cancel events, just get in touch.
 
If you’re worried about how the virus could affect your business, there is an advice helpline for Scottish businesses which is open Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 17:30. The helpline number is 0300 303 0660. Call handlers will answer questions from businesses related to Coronavirus as well as relaying the challenges faced by businesses to the Scottish government.
 
We’re working closely with our colleagues at Scottish Chambers of Commerce and will share any information with our members as and when we have it.
