Join the Highland Council Consultation Event on the Proposed Highland Visitor Levy on Monday, 24th February 2025, 11:00-12:30, Mackays Hotel Wick.

Highland Council is proposing a 5% visitor levy on overnight accommodation, applied year-round across the Highland region. A 12-week public consultation is open until Monday, 31st March 2025, allowing businesses, residents, and visitors to provide feedback directly via the Highland Council consultation portal.

This member-exclusive event will provide Caithness Chamber of Commerce and Venture North members with key information on the proposed levy, ensuring they can make informed contributions to the consultation.

Malcolm MacLeod, Assistant Chief Executive (Place), and Highland Council representatives will lead the session, providing insights and answering questions.

Hosted by Caithness Chamber of Commerce, this event is part of a wider consultation series led by Highland Chambers of Commerce. It is an important opportunity for members to engage, ask questions, contribute, gain insights, and ensure their voices are heard.
