1st March 2021, 10:00 to 11:00 @ Online

Scottish Chambers of Commerce are marking this year’s Scottish Apprenticeship Week by holding a virtual event to shine a light on the great things that happen when business back talent.

There’s never been a more important time to recognise the vital role apprentices can play in supporting businesses and the economy both now, and in the recovery. It is also important to celebrate businesses backing Scottish Apprenticeships and providing much needed opportunities for our young people.

We’re inviting you to kick off Scottish Apprenticeship Week 2021 by hearing from;

  • Openreach on why they back apprenticeships, what they’ve been doing and how they’ve adapted to support the Covid crisis response
  • Scotland’s Apprentice Network member on how they’ve adapted to working through their apprenticeship during the crisis
  • Scotland’s Apprenticeship Advisory Board Co-Chair Alison McGregor on why apprenticeships are so important to Scotland’s employers and young people

Join our virtual event to find out how else you can participate as the week unfolds and secure your FREE place at this year’s Scottish Apprenticeship Awards

Register to attend this event here. To learn more about Apprenticeships and how your business can get involved, see the DYW website here and keep your eyes peeled for lots more information appearing throughout 1st – 5th March.
