Online workshop and 1-2-1 advice for food and drink business owners/managers who want to develop their online business and find new markets.

About this Event

This workshop will set out the essential principles of effective digital and online marketing and market development for food and drink companies, that will enable you to grow your business in the online world from identifying the right channels to markets, to evaluating campaign performance.

This workshop will be delivered online through Zoom for up to 10 food and drink companies. At this difficult time, the importance of identifying and engaging new and existing customers has never been more important.

Workshop audience:

Highland region food and drink business owners and managers who understand the business benefits of digital, and who are ready to invest in digital solutions to reach and develop new markets in the future.

Joining Instructions:

This workshop is an online webinar and will be using the Zoom – the web conferencing platform.

Zoom works with many devices including PC’s, MAC’s as well as mobile devices (both iphone and Android are supported). Once registered for the workshop/one-one, you will receive an invitation email from the host of the webinar with a link, just click on the link to get started.

Most people have no problem running Zoom on their devices however if you get lost then see the comments below:If you have used Zoom before on your device then it will already be installed and all you have to do is click ‘Open Zoom’ and then enter your name and click ‘Join with Computer Audio’ and you will be connected to the morning webinar.

If you have never used Zoom before, then after clicking on the link it will download Zoom to your device and you will be asked to Install zoom – this should only take 1-2 minutes – after that you enter your name and click ‘Join with Computer Audio’ and you will be connected to the webinar.

Workshop facilitator: Stephen Whitelaw

Stephen Whitelaw, a member of the Highland Food & Drink Innovation Network team, has over 35 years of business experience in the starting and growing of a number of technology and technology driven businesses both in the UK and USA.

Stephen has worked with a large number of food and drink companies of all sizes from across Scotland – delivery strategic technology workshops as well as 1-2-1 consultancy for individual businesses.

The workshop is being delivered by the Highland Food and Drink Network, a project delivered by the Northern Innovation Hub.

NIH is part of the Inverness and Highland City-Region Deal – a joint initiative supported by £315m investment from the UK and Scottish governments, The Highland Council, HIE and University of the Highlands and Islands. This programme also receives financial support from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) through the Innovation strategic intervention.
