Emma Robertson, Project Manager at Science Skills Academy (SSA) will tell us how SSA inspires young students and she will share some of their success stories. You will also find out how you as a business can get involved with SSA and help to galvanize future generations of professionals in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM).
Science Skills Academy is a multi partnership project led by Highland and Islands Enterprise (HIE) and funded through the Inverness and Highland City-Region Deal. The main aim of SSA is to encourage more young people to study (STEM) based subjects.
With thousands of high quality jobs on the horizon in biosciences, digital skills, renewable energy and the space sector, the SSA is here to spark the interest of young people and ensure equal access to STEM provision for all schools across the Highland.
