Brexit Support Hub

The UK has now left the European Union, and new rules and guidance are in place for businesses which want to trade with Europe, but that is not the full extent of the changes to come. As the UK Government works to bring its own rules and regulations into place, everything from employment law to State Aid has the potential to change.

The clearest impacts will be on those businesses which currently trade with the EU, or are intending to do so in the future, with new and changing rules and regulations in place around importing and exporting as well as a host of other areas like product safety and mutual recognition of professional qualifications.

However, even for businesses which have no direct relationship with the EU, these changes might also affect the way you work. Whether that’s changes to employment and immigration law, or new processes for product safety when placing goods on the UK market, businesses across the North Highlands will need to ensure that they are aware of the latest rules and guidance.

On these pages, we will publish all the latest advice and guidance we have regarding the UK’s transition out of the European Union, as well as details of any support or funding available to help businesses adapt.
