Green Jobs Fund
The Scottish Government has allocated £50 million to the enterprise agencies for a Green Jobs Fund from 2021-26.
The purpose of the fund is to support organisations that provide sustainable and/or low carbon products and services to develop, grow and create jobs.
Highlands & Islands Enterprise will be focussing its allocation of the fund (£6.4million) towards supporting projects that:
- create jobs;
- produce goods or provide services that benefit the environment or conserve natural resources; and/or
- involve making organisational production processes more environmentally friendly.
HIE will begin reviewing any notes of interest in the fund at the end of May. If you wish to note your interest about the fund please email enquiries@hient.co.uk.
